Week 4

So there is the final cake, not to bad for my first attempt. I'm pretty proud of myself and I think it's fairly safe to say that I had some of the better roses in class. Decorating really comes down to making great icing, it's got to be just the right consistency or it won't work. I need to work more on my icing and I may actually get good at this! This was the last class of Course 1, next month I should be able to start Course 2 so until then...

Week 3

So most of my cupcakes looked horrible, really horrible so I only took pictures of the two. Oh man did my clowns suck...we also learned the final step in making roses.
Next week I have to fully decorate a cake to graduate, I think I can, I think I can, I think I can...

Week 2

So that's the completed cake...not to shabby but I definitely need to work on my writing skills. Next week is cupcakes!
